SSBD Silat

Silat Suffian Bela Diri

A traditional Southeast Asian martial art from Brunei, founded by Cikgu Maul Mornie. Focusing on practical bela-diri (self-defense) with comprehensive weapons mastery.

The Art of Bela-Diri

SSBD Silat, founded by Cikgu Maul Mornie of Brunei, is a comprehensive martial art focusing on traditional bela-diri (self-defense). The system emphasizes practical application, fluid movement, and the seamless integration of empty hands and weapons.

Unlike sport-focused martial arts, SSBD maintains its roots in real-world self-protection, teaching practitioners to respond effectively to various threat scenarios with economy of motion and devastating efficiency.
